Do I need Claude Max?

Nope. Claude Cowork is available for all paid plans, from the $20/month Pro plan to the $200/month Max plan. No matter what plan you're on, it's basically a full time digital employee. Even the cheapest virtual assistant costs between $500 and $1000/month. You're getting that level of leverage for a fraction of the price.

Does this work on Windows? Do I need a Mac computer?

Yes! Cowork is available on both Mac and Windows Claude desktop applications. You will need a laptop or desktop, as cowork is currently not available on the mobile or tablet apps.
